Project Requirements

The U.S. project required a matte-red flat-bottom coffee bag for a 12oz fill. The functional specification combined a side zipper, degassing valve and gravure-printed artwork in an eight-side-seal format.

Packaging Approach

A MATOPP / VMPET / PE structure of approximately 140 microns was converted into a 12.7 × 20.8 + 8 cm flat-bottom pouch. The 12oz format includes the confirmed side zipper and one-way valve.

Gravure Printing and Degassing Valve

The matte-red flat-bottom pouch uses gravure printing and includes a side zipper and degassing valve.

Project Result

The completed pouch is a matte-red 12oz flat-bottom coffee bag measuring 12.7 × 20.8 + 8 cm. Its finished specification combines gravure printing, a side zipper and a degassing valve.
