Flat Bottom Bag Structure and Buying Considerations
Flat bottom, box bottom and eight-side-seal are commonly used for this pouch family. The final specification still needs to define its construction, dimensions and feature positions.
Size and coffee fill
Labels such as 250g, 12oz or 2lb are starting points. Coffee density, roast, headspace and material stiffness also affect the finished dimensions.
Valve and closure layout
Degassing valves and zipper positions need to work with the top seal, filling space, panel folds and artwork.
Printable panels
The front, back and side panels provide space for branding and product information, with usable areas adjusted around folds and seals.
