Project Requirements
The U.S. project needed a kraft flat-bottom coffee pouch with gravure-printed artwork, a pocket zipper and a one-way degassing valve.
Packaging Approach
A MATOPP / White Kraft Paper / VMPET / PE laminate was converted into a 12.7 × 24 + 7.7 cm flat-bottom pouch with the specified pocket zipper and valve.
Gravure Printing and Degassing Valve
The artwork was gravure printed on the kraft laminate before eight-side-seal conversion. The pocket zipper and valve were incorporated into the finished pouch.
Project Result
The pocket zipper gives the kraft pouch a concealed resealable opening, paired with the one-way degassing valve in the flat-bottom format.
