Project Requirements
The Australian project needed a matte-black flat-bottom coffee pouch with gravure-printed artwork, a side zipper and a one-way degassing valve.
Packaging Approach
A PET / AL / PE laminate was converted into a 14 × 18.5 + 7.5 cm flat-bottom pouch. The specification included matte varnish, the side zipper and the valve.
Gravure Printing and Degassing Valve
The pouch was gravure printed and coated with matte varnish before flat-bottom conversion. The side zipper and one-way degassing valve were then incorporated into the bag.
Project Result
The side zipper provides a resealable opening without occupying the top filling area, while the matte-black finish gives the pouch its intended appearance.
