Coffee Bag Finish FAQs

What finishes are available for custom coffee bags?

Our project experience includes matte varnish, gloss lamination, soft touch film, spot UV, foil stamping and holographic effects. Availability depends on the complete packaging specification.

What is the difference between matte varnish and soft touch?

Matte varnish creates a low-shine visual direction, while soft touch film adds a distinct tactile surface. They are different finishing approaches and must be reviewed with the material and print method.

Can foil stamping be combined with printed coffee bags?

Yes. Foil stamping can be combined with printed artwork. The foil area, artwork, material and production sequence need to be reviewed together.

What is Spot UV used for?

Spot UV can create contrast or emphasis on selected artwork areas. The treatment area and compatibility are reviewed against the print, material and other finishes.

Can every finish be used on every material?

No. Finish compatibility depends on the material structure, printing method, bag format, artwork and complete production specification.

What information do you need to recommend a finish?

Please share the artwork, preferred visual or tactile direction, bag format, material direction, printing method and any areas you want to emphasize.
