How do I choose a coffee bag material structure?

What is the difference between VMPET and aluminum foil?

VMPET is metallized PET film, while AL refers to an aluminum foil layer. They are different barrier materials and must be assessed as part of the complete laminate rather than compared by one layer alone.

What is the difference between mono-PE and mono-PP?

Mono-PE and mono-PP directions keep the main flexible layers within the PE or PP material family respectively. The suitable direction depends on barrier, printing, pouch conversion, features and the recycling system in the target market.

Can recyclable coffee bags use valves and zippers?

Selected configurations can include valves or zippers, but every component affects the complete package. Compatibility and the final recyclability claim need review for the intended market.
